ACCOMODATION:
Accommodation is available at SAIT Polytechnic in their recently constructed Begin Tower.
There are two options as follows:

• One Bedroom Studio Unit: $89 per night. This includes internet access, a breakfast each morning, and parking. These units also come with a kitchenette and full size fridge. Please let me know if you have any questions.
• Two Bedroom Unit: $119.00 per night. This type of unit would be good for people who know someone who is attending the conference and would like to room with them to save some money. These units have two private bedrooms with one common bathroom.

COMPANION / OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

• Thursday July 12th, 2012, Visit Banff by bus.
  Cost: $55.00 per person (includes lunch). This is intended to be an all day trip to the community of Banff located in Banff National Park. The cost will cover entry to the park and the bus transportation. You may wish to visit the Banff Hot Springs Pool at an extra cost or you may simply wish to look through the many local shops. In either case, be certain to visit the Banff garden.
• Friday July 13th, 2012, Visit the Calgary Stampede.
  The Calgary Stampede is an annual event for young and old alike. The Stampede is easily accessed via the "C" train at the SAIT campus. The train currently costs $2.50 per ride but will take passengers directly to the Stampede Grounds. After visiting the Grounds, conventioneers can enjoy a visit to the 8th Avenue downtown open mall.

This year is the 100 year anniversary of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. It may be hard to get tickets for rodeo events. Click here for ticket information.
