Calgary Branch - Membership Information

Member- IIA (As per Constitution)
Membership may be held by a person holding a Power Engineer Certificate of Competency as recognized by the Institute and who has qualified according to the Membership Acceptance Standards a set by the Institute and has paid the dues hereinafter provided for.

Associate Member - IID (As per Constitution)
Associate Membership may be held by a person engaged in any Profession or Industry allied with the Power Engineering Profession and not necessarily possessing Member qualification. These Associate Members will be in all respects equal to and enjoy the same privileges as Members.

Membership Dues Schedule: (Effective January 1, 2006)

The anniversary date of members who join after January 2001 will be the first of the month following admission into the Institute.

ANNUAL DUES:

- New Members: $ 105.00 (includes a one-time only $ 10.00 initiation fee).

- Re-admission: $ 95.00

- Re-instatement: $ 85.00

- Members: $ 95.00 (a $ 5.00 discount applies if paid within 30 days of the anniversary date).

- Senior Members: $ 50% of annual dues.

- Student Members: If eligible, as per Operational Memo MM/5/JAN/95, will qualify for dues discount if paid by January 31

NOTE:
- Discount is NOT applicable to new members.
- Your membership dues are tax deductible under union/professional like dues.
